
Mrs. Fatmata Kamara, enfermera comunitaria de base del SJGH desde 2006, que se la promovió a estudiar comadrona en Makeni y que trabajaba actualmente en el departamento de Maternidad, nos dejó el pasado 9 de julio. Empezó a tener problemas de salud que inicialmente se trataron en nuestro hospital de Mabesseneh, pero finalmente tubo que ser trasladada a un Hospital de Freetown donde falleció.
Queremos dar desde aquí nuestro más sincero pésame a toda su familia y a todo el personal de SJDH de Mabesseneh por la pérdida de una gran compañera y una buena profesional.

Notification del Br. Michael: Mrs. Fatmata Kamara
Kamara was employed at the St. John of God Catholic hospital since 2009 at a time when the hospital was in date need of experienced nurses. Fatmata Kamara originated from Freetown where she trained as a community health nurse. Since she joined the St. John of God family in Lunsar she has worked diligently with the hospital in various capacities of leadership. The most recent responsibility she held was the management of the maternity ward from where the hospital awarded her a scholarship to pursue training in community midwifery at Makeni. Whilst in school in the first year when she suddenly fell ill and she has been managed at the St. John of God hospital and later at the Freetown national referral hospital where she passed on this morning. Fatmata Kamara loved her patients whom she cared for well. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
